Dangerous speed

The police emphasize that speed is one of the main causes of road accidents.

They remind us that the greater it is, the worse drivers' perception of the surroundings and the limited reception of information, the worse the vehicle's balance on road curves and the less tire grip, as well as the longer the braking distance. The energy is also greater in the event of a collision with another vehicle or a solid obstacle, and the consequences for the driver and passengers are more tragic.

They appeal for common sense and caution on the road and driving with imagination. “Let us remember that compliance with road rules increases our safety on the road,” they point out.
