Zabrze. The president of the football club, Tomasz Mentelski, was killed in the collision of a truck and two passenger cars

In the accident on the A4 motorway in Zabrze (Śląskie), the president of the football club appearing in the Silesian B -class – Stal Kuźnia Raciborska – was killed.

A tragic accident occurred on Friday around 8.30 to 318 kilometers of the A4 motorway towards Katowice. The services received information about a serious accident involving a truck and passenger cars.

According to the spokesman for the NMP in Zabrze asp. Sebastian Bijok, a truck and two passenger cars collided. In the accident, the man driver died.

The circumstances of the accident are explained by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor's office in Zabrze.

Tomasz Mentelski is dead

Tylkokuznia.pl announced that the deceased was Tomasz Mentelski, president of the football club appearing in the Silesian B-class, steel Kuźnia Raciborska.

The club on its Facebook profile published a photo with a black candle and a funeral ribbon.

The GKS Dąb Gaszowice club also wrote about death, in which Mentelski was a footballer.

The City Hall in Kuźnia Raciborska also informed about the death of the club president.

“With deep sadness and regret we inform you that Tomasz Mentelski -KS Kiźnia Raciborska tragically died. His sudden departure is a huge blow to his family, friends and everyone who knew and valued him. In these difficult moments, please respect the privacy of the family and the relatives of the deceased. We combine in pain with all those who have affected this loss.”
