A 25-year-old from Żagań (Lubusz Voivodeship) received a fine of PLN 2,000 and 42 penalty points. According to the police, he exceeded the speed limit, overtook on a double line and did not stop for a road check. Additionally, it turned out that the vehicle the man was driving was disabled. It had a broken mirror and “bald” tires.
The incident occurred during the daily speed control of vehicles in Żagań. On one of the streets, officers noticed an Audi passenger car that was traveling 44 kilometers too fast where the speed limit was 50 kilometers per hour.
He did not stop and drove into a dead-end street
According to Staff Sergeant Arkadiusz Szlachetko from the Żagań police, the Audi driver also committed other offenses. – While driving, he did not follow the double solid line and also missed an island on the road on the left. The driver ignored the policeman’s sign to stop the vehicle, drove into a dead-end street and when he wanted to back out to make a U-turn, he was stopped, the policeman said.

He added: – During the inspection, it turned out that the vehicle driven by the 25-year-old was defective. It had a broken exterior mirror and “bald” tires. The officers stopped his registration certificate. For irresponsible behavior on the road and committed offenses, the man “collected” 42 penalty points and received a fine of PLN 2,000.
