On the streets of Żagań (Lubuskie Voivodeship), the driver of a Lamborghini first overtook an unmarked police car on a double continuous road, and then rushed through a built-up area 78 km/h too fast. The 49-year-old lost his driving license for three months and was fined heavily.
As the press officer of the Żagań police, Staff Sergeant Arkadiusz Szlachetko, a Lamborghini driver on ul. Allied airmen in Żagań first overtook several vehicles, including an unmarked police car, on a double continuous road, and then drove through a built-up area at a speed of 128 km / h.
– Exceeded the speed limit by 78 km/h. The man was detained for inspection. The 49-year-old driver lost his driving license for three months. He was fined PLN 2,500 for exceeding the speed limit and PLN 1,200 for exceeding the double continuous speed limit, the policeman informed.
Other arrested drivers
These are not the only drivers detained in recent days by officers from the traffic department from Żagań. In the village of Czerna, a 30-year-old driver of a Ford passenger car had 112 km/h on the odometer. According to Szlachetko, the man lost his driving license for three months and will have to pay a fine of PLN 2,000. A similar event took place in Kartowice.
– In the place where the speed limit is 40 km/h, a 23-year-old driver of an Audi passenger car was stopped, who had 95 km/h on the speedometer. The man said goodbye to his driving license and will have to pay a fine of PLN 1,500, the press officer reported.
