Tragic accident on route S7 near Warsaw. Cyclist dies. Road towards the capital is blocked, detours have been set up.
The incident occurred before 4 p.m. on the Kroczewo – Czosnów section, near the town of Zakroczym.
– The bus driver hit a cyclist – said Jacek Sobociński from the press department of the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
Despite resuscitation attempts, the cyclist could not be saved. – The bus driver was sober – added the police representative.
On-site activities are underway under the supervision of the prosecutor. As reported by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, the roadway towards Warsaw is blocked. The disruptions may last until 7 p.m.
