When we saw each other on “Idol” – I didn't tell anyone about it – only Paweł Jóźwicki knew. My mother was in hospital – waiting for a second brain tumor operation, which they didn't want to do because it was inoperable, but the family insisted. I would cheer myself up on TV, then get on a train or car and go to the hospital, to my mother. – the vocalist confessed. Two years after Zalewski's success in “Idol”, his mom died. It was a heavy blow for the young man. – Two years after “Idol” – my mother spent those years bedridden, half paralyzed at home. After two years, my mother died. For a 20-year-old boy who grew up with only his mother, this is a strong blow. On the other hand, I also had two years to prepare for this. I knew it would come. In conversation with Kuba Wojewódzki and Piotr Kędzierski the singer admitted that years ago he completely denied mourning his mother. Now he is able to talk about this difficult stage in his life. – It turns out that it was only after 19 years that I started talking about it more or less calmly. I wrote a song about my mother for an album – I somehow started to experience this mourning. Then I completely repressed it – emphasized Zalewski. The artist also admitted that at the same time he broke up with his partner, which was also very difficult for him. –I broke up with my fiancée then. I had a fiancée when I was 20. That was also painful. And on the third hand, I experienced this momentary fame. The ladies in the butcher shop had a stroke when they saw me, because I was on TV. But I recorded a mediocre album, so a year and a half later nobody remembered me. That was also quite hard – added Krzysztof Zalewski.
