He was driving way too fast and this attracted the attention of the police officers from the Ostrołęka traffic police. The driver was drunk but honest. He said he was coming back from a seaside holiday and had had a few beers before driving.
On Saturday, a few minutes before 6 p.m., police officers from the Ostrołęka headquarters, who are part of the SPEED group in Mazovia, patrolled roads in the area of Załuzie (Makowski poviat). There they noticed a driver who was on the limit of 50 km / h. was traveling at 132 km/h.
– They immediately stopped the dangerous driving of the Audi driver, and after opening the door it turned out that speeding was not his only “sins”. From the 51-year-old, there was a strong smell of alcohol. A sobriety test showed that he had over the legal limit in his system. The man said that he was coming back from a holiday by the sea and drank a few beers before driving, communiqué Tomasz Żerański from the Ostrołęka police informs.
The 51-year-old has already lost his driving license and will soon answer for his actions in court. He faces up to two years in prison, a very large fine and loss of powers for many years.
