The former head of the Ministry of Justice believes that the Sejm inquiry commission for Pegasus is illegal and as such cannot apply to the court for its forced contention. Ziobro refers to the judgment of the Constitutional Tribunal, which on September 10 last year. He considered that the scope of the activity of the PEGASUS inquiry commission was inconsistent with the Constitution.

In the justification published on Thursday by the District Court in Warsaw, it was emphasized that the court does not share the claim that the Court does not share the claim that there is no entity in the context of the content of the September judgment of the Constitutional Tribunal that has the right to apply to the District Court for a decision on detention and forced bringing the witness to Commission meeting.

Trela: If it doesn't work for the second time, then we have a paragraph

The Left MP added that if the witness is not able to lead to the interrogation on Friday, he would be in favor of setting the next date of interrogation of Ziobra. – If it does not work for the second time, then we have a paragraph 2 Article 287 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which says that the one who persistently refuses to testify can be arrested up to 30 days – noted attention.

He added that it is possible that the Presidium would decide on faster appeal to this article. The deputy head of the commission emphasized that if Ziobra managed to lead to the meeting, but he would avoid answering the questions asked to him, the Commission will vote for granting a penalty.

Ziobro does not focus on meeting the investigation commission

Until now, Ziobro has not appeared several times at the meeting of the PEGASUS Inquiry Commission. Therefore, the Commission applied to the court for permission to stop it and forced to interrogate. The Sejm repealed his immunity for this purpose.
