According to my knowledge, Zbigniew Ziobro has not yet decided whether he will appear at the investigative commission into the Pegasus case – said Michał Wójcik from Sovereign Poland in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24. He said the call was a “disgusting attack.” – But he will not make decisions, he is summoned, he is obliged to appear – replied Tomasz Trela from Nowa Lewica, a member of this commission.
The chairwoman of the parliamentary committee for Pegasus, Magdalena Sroka, announced that Zbigniew Ziobro will be summoned to appear before the committee on October 14.
Earlier, the committee received an expert opinion on the politician's health condition, which – as Sroka said – allows him to be questioned. Ziobro himself said that he was surprised by this because “no expert examined him.” Przemysław Nowak, spokesman for the National Prosecutor's Office, said that investigators obtained documentation from five medical facilities and on this basis the expert issued an opinion, concluding that a direct examination was not necessary.
Wójcik: Ziobro has not yet decided whether he will appear at the commission
This matter was discussed in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24 by Tomasz Trela from Nowa Lewica, a member of the investigative commission into the Pegasus case, and Michał Wójcik from Sovereign Poland, a club PISformer deputy minister of justice.
Wójcik said that summoning Ziobro to the committee was a “disgusting attack” on this politician. – I would never allow myself to do this (attack – editor) on any person, regardless of whether he is a believer or a non-believer. You and your colleagues are driven by revenge, a sense of revenge, he said to Trela.
– You applied to a doctor, and today you are ashamed to give the name and surname of this doctor. And it's really worth seeing who issued this opinion and what the opinions of people who come to this doctor are, he continued. Wójcik also said that, to his knowledge, there was no information in the medical records about the surgery Ziobro underwent, and that he was not examined at all, and the documentation “was not complete.”
– To the best of my knowledge, Minister Ziobro has not yet made a decision (whether he will appear at the commission – ed.). And I would convince him not to appear before the commission, because… Constitutional Tribunalone of the most important state bodies, decided that this commission is illegal – he added, referring to the decision of the Constitutional Tribunal in this case.
Trela: Mr. Zbigniew, we are waiting for the investigative committee
Tomasz Trela said that “the matter is obvious.” – Mr. Ziobro can say various things to himself. He does not have to be willing, but has to be obliged to appear before the investigative commission. Yesterday he gave a fiery interview on pro-PiS television, and today he is threatening to report him to the prosecutor's office. It means that we are in shape, we are healthy. So Mr. Zbigniew, we are waiting for the investigative commission on October 14 – said the representative of the New Left.
– We have to provide (Ziobro – ed.) a seat. We are to provide a glass of lukewarm water. And Mr. Ziobro is not to speak for more than two hours. And we will provide all this, he continued.
Referring to Wójcik's words that, according to his knowledge, Ziobro has not yet decided whether he will appear, he replied: – But he will not make a decision, he is summoned.
