One person was taken to hospital after an accident near Mszczonów. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
The accident occurred on Friday on national highway 50, near the town of Zbiroza. As the Żyrardów police announced on social media, two vehicles were involved in the accident. One person, according to the officers, was transported to the hospital.
In turn, volunteers from Zbiroży reported that they were called to the site around 4:30 p.m. “We were dispatched to an accident between a delivery van and a truck. After the head-on collision, the driver of the delivery van was stuck in the wreckage. Using hydraulic tools, we freed the injured person and handed them over to the Emergency Medical Services, and then he was transported to the hospital,” they wrote on Facebook.
They specified that the following people worked on site: Volunteer Fire Department Zbiroża, Volunteer Fire Department Mszczonów, Fire Department Żyrardów, paramedics and policemen.
The road was blocked. The police marked detours from Mszczonów through Tarczyn and from Chudolipia through Grzegorzewice. The difficulties lasted several hours.
