An 84-year-old resident of Zelów (Łódź Province), who was leaving his property in his Daewoo Tico, did not give way to the 19-year-old BMW driver and led to a collision. Despite resuscitation, the elderly man died at the scene. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office.
The incident took place on March 15 in the evening on Żeromskiego Street in Zelów. The services were called to the accident in which two passenger cars collided.

– Preliminary findings of the police officers working on the spot show that an 84-year-old resident of Zelów driving a Daewoo Tico, leaving the property, did not give way to a BMW vehicle driven by a 19-year-old resident of the Bełchatów poviat. Unfortunately, despite the resuscitation, the elderly man died, said Chief Commissioner Iwona Kaszewska from the Bełchatów Police Department.
The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office.
