On Thursday morning, a fire broke out in a warehouse in Żelków-Kolonia (Siedlce poviat). According to the Masovian fire brigade, part of the building collapsed as a result.
The firefighters received information about the fire at around 5 o’clock. – The fire broke out in a hall measuring 26 by 100 meters. Plastics, tires and wood were stored in the building. As a result of the fire, half of the hall collapsed. Nothing happened to anyone – said Karol Kierzkowski, press officer of the Masovian fire brigade.
He added that 11 teams, 50 firefighters in total, took part in the firefighting operation. – The situation is under control now. The hall is being put out, said Kierzkowski before 12 noon.
