In Żerniki near Poznań, a small plane crashed into a field while landing. Only the pilot was inside. It is not yet known what caused the accident.
At approximately 6:20 p.m. the services received a report of a small plane accident.
– The light aircraft fell to the ground, onto a field. There was only one person inside. It was the pilot. He is alive and under the care of the medical rescue team – said the officer on duty at the Wielkopolska fire brigade.
The officer on duty at the provincial police headquarters in Poznań said that the pilot left the plane on his own and did not suffer any injuries. – This incident occurred during landing – he added.
Seven fire brigades were dispatched to the scene. Three more are currently operating.
