Commenting on the fire in the hall with hazardous waste in Zielona Góra, PO chief Donald Tusk mentioned “the stench of hundreds of unpunished illegal landfills” and “the stench of PiS corruption throughout Poland”. Reacting to his entry, Minister Anna Moscow argued that the government had “declared war on the garbage mafia”. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, in turn, stated that Tusk “even wants to use fire for his black PR”.
In Przylepa, a district of Zielona Góra, firefighters put out a fire at a chemical waste dump. There were about five thousand cubic meters of material in the hall. The fire is under control, it is not spreading. Before 10 am, Lubuskie Voivode Władysław Dajczak announced that “the fire is under control” and “should be finished within several hours”.
Tusk: the stench of PiS corruption throughout Poland
Head of the Civic Platform Donald Tusk after the conference of services in Zielona Góra, he wrote: “The stench of burning waste in Zielona Góra. The stench of hundreds of unpunished illegal landfills. The stench of PiS corruption throughout Poland. Kaczyński and Sasin on a picnic.”
In this way, he referred to the president of PiS and the minister of state assets, as well as to weekend family picnics organized by Law and Justice.
Moscow responds to Tusk
The Minister of Climate and Environment referred to the PO leader’s entry Anna Moscow. Addressing Tusk, she wrote: “smelly garbage imported en masse under your rule”, “dangerous waste left to residents in many strange places”.
“We have declared war on the garbage mafia – drastic penalties, the SENT system, stopping this illegal, smelly practice from 2012-15. I am on the scene and watching,” Moscow argued. At the end of the entry, she accused the Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, Elżbieta Polak, of disinforming the inhabitants. She did not specify what the disinformation was about.
Morawiecki: the stench of lies returned to Poland with Tusk
The head of government also spoke Mateusz Morawiecki. “Disgusting,” he began the post. He called Tusk a “juggler” and the Civic Platform – a “Party of Cheaters”.
According to the Prime Minister, Tusk “even wants to use fire for his black PR”. “They will use every misfortune to quarrel Poles. The stench of lies has returned to Poland with Tusk. The Polish state has been fighting the fire and its consequences since Saturday,” he wrote. He thanked the services “for their excellent work, and the Poles for keeping calm.”
