The motorcyclist’s accident occurred on the S8 route at the Zielonka junction. Emergency services were on site. Traffic towards Warsaw was carried through the emergency lane.
Tomasz Zieliński, a tvnwarszawa.pl reporter, was on site. – The motorcyclist fell and the motorcycle caught fire. The man was examined in the ambulance but did not suffer any major injuries. The motorcycle completely burned down, he said.
Motorcyclist injured
– According to the first information, the motorcyclist was conscious. Two fire brigades are working on site: from the State Fire Service from Wołomin and from the Volunteer Fire Department in Zielonka – aspirant Jan Sobków, press officer of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wołomin, told us just before 9 p.m. – The motorcyclist is under the care of the emergency medical team – said the firefighter.
Two lanes of the S8 route towards Warsaw, at the Zielonka junction, were blocked.
