Ryszard Rynkowski heard the charge of driving a car in a state of intoxication. A well -known singer took part in a collision, after which – as the police determined – he left the scene. His manager earlier said in the media that the sun “blinded him” and the lawyer sent the artist's apology to the media.

The incident occurred just before 12 o'clock on Saturday in Żmijewko (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). There was a collision of two cars. One of them was managed by Ryszard Rynkowski (the artist's lawyer gave us permission to provide the name of the singer, but he did not express his consent to publish the image).

– Policemen determined that the Volkswagen driver, as a result of incorrect evaporation, led to a collision with Opel, and then moved away from the scene – tells us young asp. Paweł Dominiak from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Brodnica. – Within an hour, the police determined and detained the driver of the Volkswagen. During the detention, a 73 -year -old resident of the Brodnica poviat had over 1.6 per mil of alcohol in his body – he added.

As a result of the collision, no one was injured.

After sobering up, Ryszard Rynkowski heard the charge of driving a vehicle in a state of intoxication. He faces up to three years in prison. He will be responsible for causing a collision in a different mode.

He was on his way to Opole

Ryszard Rynkowski was on his way to a concert in Opole, where he was to perform during the last day of the 62nd Polish Polish Song Festival. A festival spokesman informed that he had a “accident” on Sunday.

The artist's manager also referred to the incident. As he said for Super Express, the singer was to blind the sun, “as a result he led to a collision with another vehicle.”

Now, when it turned out that the singer had heard allegations, the manager refused us to comment.

The artist's apology and the explanation of the lawyer

Ryszard Rynkowski's statement, issued in connection with the events of June 14, 2025, was presented on Monday by the media of his lawyer Adam Koziozymbski.

“Dear fans, I wanted to apologize to all of you for the event of June 14, 2025. I realize that I have disappointed many of you, especially the wonderful Opole audience. I promise that this situation will be a lesson for me from which I will draw the appropriate conclusions,” said Ryszard Rynkowski.

Koziozymbski added that in order to determine the actual alcohol concentration in his client's body, “it will be necessary to take evidence from the expert opinion, because there is a number of doubts in the case, the decision of which requires special information.”

As the lawyer told us, “the case is not clear, which raises the need to carry out an expert opinion in the field of medicine.”
