In the last week Social Insurance Institution regularly published messages about limited access to the PUE ZUS service. This is an online platform The Plantwhere, among other things, you can submit basic conclusions online and track data collected by ZUS. The limitations in the service were caused by the ongoing modernization work. PUE ZUS is changing into eZUS, which is to be easier to use and more modern.
Revolution in ZUS. “The transformation begins”
“The transformation of PUE ZUS into eZUS is just beginning. The aim of this project is to make the system more friendly, accessible and secure for the insured, beneficiaries and payers of contributions” – we read in announcement Zakład. ZUS has been working on modernizing the portal for years.
eZUS has been available since Thursday, August 29. However, this is only the first version of this service. “Ultimately, the system will have simple navigation, an intuitive interface and functions tailored to the needs of various customer groups, including people with special needs,” we read. For now, only the first changes have been introduced – in the method of logging into the system.
Each user who logs into PUE ZUS will see a new login screen. The changes in the login method are intended to make the portal itself more secure. For several days now, the eZUS password must consist of at least 12 characters, so after logging in, the system will ask you to change your password. Then, you will have to confirm your login with a verification code, which will be sent by text message or email.
After logging in, the user will be able to choose the account they want to use before they start handling matters at ZUS. “This can be an individual account (where the roles of general, beneficiary and insured person are available) or a payer's (entrepreneur's) account or an account to which the user has access as a proxy,” ZUS specifies.
ZUS wants to be more modern. This is not the end of changes
– We are constantly expanding this system, thanks to which more and more matters related to ZUS can be handled online. Ultimately, the system will have simple navigation, an intuitive interface and functions adapted to the requirements of various customer groups, including people with special needs – assured ZUS spokesman Paweł Żebrowski, quoted by money.pl. According to his estimates, the changes will affect about 13 million people, because that is how many people currently use the PEU ZUS service.
Further changes in the eZUS system will be introduced this year. “Changes are planned in the registration of an account on eZUS and in processes related to logging in, e.g. when reminding the login. They are also ongoing works on improving the profile of the contribution payer,” the Institution announces.
