Zygmunt Solorz made a decision on Monday (October 7). deletion his sons Piotr Żak and Tobias Solorz from ZE PAK SA. Patron Paweł Rymarz issued a statement on behalf of Solorz's sons and daughter (Aleksandra Żak) after the company's general meeting in which he questioned the legal basis for the dismissal of his clients. He reached the letter Onet.
Is it illegal to expel children from the company? “Succession has already happened”
“The succession planned for many years by Zygmunt Solorz himself has already taken place. The notarial statement of Mr. Zygmunt Solorz of August 2, 2024, transferring joint control over the TiVi and Solkomtel Foundations to his children: Tobias Solorz and Aleksandra and Piotr Żak, is binding and constitutes the implementation of the assumed script for years,” the patron writes in a statement.
Then the billionaire notarially transferred the Liechtenstein foundation to the children, de facto giving them power. According to that agreement, Zygmunt Solorz was only supposed to have the right of veto. A day later, however, the billionaire informed the children that he wanted to withdraw from it. This day (August 3) is considered a breakthrough in the fight for the succession of Zygmunt Solorz. We wrote more about it here.
“Attempts to violate this factual state by revoking the statement of August 2, 2024 do not produce any legal effects,” the lawyer believes. “Today's dismissal of Tobias Solorz and Piotr Żak from the authorities of ZE PAK SA, or further actions that we can probably expect in the coming days, such as alleged attempts to dismiss Tobias Solorz and Piotr Żak from the authorities of companies owned directly and indirectly by the TiVi and Solkomtel Foundations, have purely personal, and have no significance for the essence of the ongoing dispute,” writes Paweł Rymarz in a statement.
Zygmunt Solorz's son silenced during the assembly
Onet not only did he get access to the attorney's letter, but he also learned how the billionaire's children were dismissed from the board. He was supposed to read it information about these changes from the page. During the billionaire's speech, which took place remotely, Solorz “had obvious speech problems.” His son Piotr Żak tried to convince him that the regulations did not allow for this form of participation, but it was to no avail.
He also demanded that “meeting participants be informed about yesterday's events.” However, it was drowned out. His requests for a 30-day break in the deliberations were rejected.
