The District Prosecutor’s Office in Żyrardów is investigating the misappropriation of construction equipment at one of the construction sites. Due to police activities, some city residents were without electricity for some time.
On Wednesday, police officers appeared at one of the construction sites in Żyrardów. “In connection with the ongoing investigation into the misappropriation of property, on the premises of one of the construction sites in Żyrardów, with the participation of police officers and prosecutors, actions are being taken to seize misappropriated construction equipment worth over PLN 3 million,” Patrycja Sochacka from the District Police Headquarters said in a Wednesday press release. in Żyrardów.
Due to police activities and for the safety of local residents and people on the construction site, it was necessary to turn off the electricity. “The power was restored as soon as possible,” Sochacka emphasized.
