Polish News is a news service for Poles living in the United Kingdom and the United States. These standards describe how our articles are produced.
Where our information comes from
We use statements from public institutions (including GOV.UK, the NHS, HMRC, the Home Office, US federal agencies and the Polish government) and reputable news organisations. Every article names and links its source. We do not publish information that cannot be confirmed in the source.
How we write
We do not republish other people’s articles. Each piece reports the facts in our own words and explains what the story means in practice for Poles in the UK, in the US or in Poland — who is affected, the deadlines, the amounts and where to find official information.
Use of AI
Some articles are prepared with the help of artificial-intelligence tools. They are labelled under the text. AI helps us summarise and translate source material; it does not invent facts, quotes or figures. Articles checked by an editor carry a “Reviewed by” note.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, tell us via the Contact page. We correct errors promptly and note significant changes in the article.
Advertising and sponsored content
Advertising is clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial content. Sponsored content is always marked “Advertisement” or “Partner content”.
