On Monday, around 8 o'clock, northern gusts reach an average speed of up to 50-60 kilometers per hour. It blows more strongly on the Gulf of Gdańsk, where gusts reaching 70 km/h are recorded, and they develop up to 100 km/h high in the mountains.

Due to the strong gusts of wind and difficult conditions on the water, the ferry crossing at the Siennicki Bridge was suspended – said a representative of the Gdańsk magistrate Paulina Chełmińska on Monday.

In the communiqué, she stated that the crossing remains suspended until the weather conditions were improved. “From the morning the wind gusts are intensified, and a strong current appeared at the bridge. For safety reasons, further ferry running is impossible,” she said. She added that the municipality would inform about the resumption of courses, and replacement communication is running in the area.
