Mariusz Pudzianowski is a multiple strongman world champion, but since 2009, i.e. a memorable fight with Marcin Najman in KSW, he focuses only on combat sports, including mainly MMA. “Pudzian” was one of the faces of KSW for years, but it is not said that this cooperation will continue in the near future.
Recently, there has been a lot of talk about two scenarios for a 48-year-old's career. The first of these is the fight with Eddie Hall at the XTB KSW 105 gala, which will take place on April 26 in Gliwice. What's more, Hall even managed to announce this duel on social media.
Only that it turned out that the contract with Pudzianowski was not signed, and Martin Lewandowski himself admitted that the conversations of KSW authorities with “Pudzian” are not easy. Therefore, the second scenario and Pudzianowski's transition to Freak Fighty cannot be ruled out, and specifically to Fame MMA, where he would fight against Natan Marconi and Adrian Cios in the formula “two per one”.
Theoretically, this topic was to be moved away because of the recent arrests of Fame MMA authorities by the Central Bureau of Investigation, but more and more indicates that this case has not yet died.
Szpilka spoke on Pudzianowski. “Unfortunately, this is mud”
Artur Szpilka is also an uncertain future of a colleague, who spoke about the possible “transfer” of Pudzianowski to Fame. – Mariusz is a man who is hard to figure out. He said that KSW is not known now. I will not say whether it is a good idea or not. I would not like an athlete, that at the end of his career he would roll in this mud. Let's not hide, this is unfortunately the mud. He doesn't quite realize what he will do there – said Szpilka on the Colosseum channel.
Szpilka himself in April in KSW is to fight with the Dutchman Errol Zimmerman, but he also has his debut in Freak Fighty, when in 2022 he defeated Denis Załęcki in High League 4, after he suffered a knee injury. Interestingly, they both come from the community environment – Szpilka was associated with Wisła Kraków years ago, and Załęcki with Elana Toruń. In KSW, in turn, “Szpila” also faced Pudzianowski, defeating him at the XTB KSW 83: Colosseum 2 at the National Stadium in Warsaw in 2023.
