Witkoff met with Putin in Moscow

Later, he assessed in an interview with journalists that the fate of four circuits of Ukraine occupied by Russia would be crucial for the agreement. However, he refused to answer whether the US recognized Russian territorial gains.

Putin announced that Russia supports the American proposal to end the conflict with peaceful methods, but emphasized that any suspension of weapons should lead to a lasting room, and therefore must eliminate the basic reasons for the conflict.
