Kartoszyno. Fire in a hall on Lake Żarnowieckie. The roof and part of the walls of one of the halls burned down.

On Tuesday, a hall prepared for the production of rubber elements burned down on the site of the failed Żarnowiec power plant. 21 fire brigades fought the fire. No one was injured.

On Tuesday at around 8:20 p.m., firefighters received a report of a fire in a hall in Kartoszyn (Pomeranian Voivodeship) on Lake Żarnowieckie in the Special Economic Zone. The hall was being prepared for the production of rubber elements.

As reported by Asp. Maciej Kuptz, spokesman for the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Puck, the fire spread to the roof of the hall measuring 100 x 20 meters. Part of its walls also burned down.

At the peak of the fire, 21 fire brigades from nearby units were on site.

The building was empty, there were no injuries. The cause of the fire will be determined by police and fire experts.
