A 40-year-old man died in a meat processing plant in the village of Antonowo near Giżycko on Tuesday afternoon. This was reported by the press officer of the Giżycko police, Staff Sergeant Iwona Chruścińska. The man was working on one of the poultry processing machines. The case is being investigated by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
Aspirant Chruścińska informed that the victim of the accident was a 40-year-old resident of Kętrzyn.
– There is a prosecutor, police technician, and police officers on site. All the circumstances of this incident will be determined – the policewoman assured. At this time, the police are not providing any other information.
The meat processing plant where the accident occurred is located in the village of Antonowo near Giżycko. It has been operating for many years.
