In a fire in two halls on Wodna Street in Krakow, which occurred on the night from Friday to Saturday, about a thousand electric scooters and batteries were burned. There are no injuries.
– On the night from Friday to Saturday, a fire broke out in halls in Krakow. Firefighters received the report at 2:25 a.m. – Junior Captain Hubert Ciepły from the Krakow fire department told TVN24.

– L-shaped halls measuring 50×12 and 20×12, which contained paper materials and about 1,000 scooters and about 1,000 spare batteries, were completely burnt down – he said. – The roof on one of the halls completely collapsed. Firefighters managed to defend the third hall, which contained about 2,000 car batteries and tires – he added.

There were no injuries in the incident. At its peak, nearly 50 firefighters were involved in the operation.
