US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced on Wednesday that Ukraine will receive more than $700 million (nearly three billion złoty) in support from Washington. An aid package worth more than 600 million pounds (over three billion złoty) will be provided to Kiev by Great Britain.
The U.S. funding includes $325 million for energy assistance and nearly $290 million for humanitarian aid.

Secretary Blinken today announced nearly $290 million in additional humanitarian funding for Ukraine, including more than $24 million to support the integration of vulnerable refugees from Ukraine here in Poland,” he wrote on social media. “This continues our support for those affected by Russia's brutal war in Ukraine. We are proud to have provided more than $220 million to date to assist refugees from Ukraine in Poland, in partnership with the Polish government and through international organizations IOM, UNICEF, UNHCR, and WHO,” he added.
Big aid package from the UK
British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said that Great Britain I will pass on Ukraine a new aid package worth over 600 million pounds (over three billion zlotys). “The UK announces the provision of at least 242 million pounds to support Ukraine in the face of ongoing Russian attacks, as well as 484 million dollars (approx. 370 million pounds) in fiscal support and military equipment supplies,” the government in London said in a statement, quoted by the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
£242 million will be allocated in 2024-25 to address urgent humanitarian, energy and stabilisation needs, as well as to support reform, recovery and reconstruction, it said.
“As Russian missile and drone strikes continue to kill civilians and destroy key infrastructure, this commitment will provide support to the most vulnerable in Ukraine, as well as support for longer-term economic, reconstruction and energy needs,” the statement said.
$484 million will be provided in the form of credit guarantees for loans from the World Bank. This will support essential public services, including maintaining schools and hospitals, paying civil servants' salaries and financing pensions – explained.
