Collections of money and items for flood victims have begun. The aid campaign has been joined by, among others: the Polish Red Cross, Caritas Polska, the siepomaga.pl foundation, the mayor of Warsaw RafaĆ Trzaskowski and the Polish Football Association.
Caritas Polska is collecting money for flood victims via the website caritas.pl. Donations can also be made via BLIK to the number 668 070 000 with the title POWODZ or by traditional transfer to the account 77 1160 2202 0000 0000 3436 4384 with the note POWODZ.
Caritas also collects items, but only in bulk from companies. “At this time, we are not conducting collections in kind from individuals,” it was reported.
The need includes water, aggregates and shovels.
Caritas informs that the following are needed: dehumidifiers, drinking water, generators, shovels, wheelbarrows, rubber boots, cloths, hygiene products, food with a long expiry date. Material aid from companies can be reported to the address owocdz@caritas.org.pl
Caritas of the Ćwidnica Diocese has launched 24-hour soup kitchens primarily for people in the homeless crisis, but anyone affected can benefit from a warm meal: in the soup kitchen in Ćwidnica at ul. Westerplatte 4-6 and the canteen in DzierĆŒoniĂłw at ul. KiliĆskiego 8.
From Monday, Caritas of the Opole Diocese will be distributing meals prepared by canteens in RacibĂłrz and Nysa to flood victims.

The Polish Red Cross has launched a special collection aimed at supporting residents of flooded areas by providing food, drinking water, hygiene products and dehumidifiers for buildings. Payments can be made online via the website www.pck.pl, directly to the account number: 16 1160 2202 0000 0002 7718 3060, via BLIK (794 33 22 11) or the Zrzutka.pl platform
Humanitarian Aid Groups from Zielona GĂłra and Opole provide hot drinks and meals to people evacuated from flooded areas in one of the schools in GĆuchoĆazy.
On the other hand Rafal Trzaskowski wrote on platform X that after contact with the municipalities affected by the flood, he decided to ask the Warsaw Council to transfer funds for the reconstruction of KĆodzko and Nysa for the projects indicated by the municipalities.
“Today, however, the priority is the most urgent help. That is why we are starting to collect the most necessary things: bottled drinking water, cleaning products, dry food,” he said.
Trzaskowski said that items can be delivered to the warehouse of the Water Treatment Plant “Filtry” on RaszyĆska Street, and from Monday morning the collection will also be carried out in all district offices.
He added that the list of needed items will be updated and the collected items will be regularly transported to those in need.
The mayor of KĆodzko, MichaĆ Piszko, shared on Twitter the account number of the Municipality of KĆodzko, to which you can donate funds to help flood victims: 62 9588 0004 7100 1010 2000 0020 with the note “Help for flood victims”.
Cezary Kulesza, President Polish Football Associationannounced via portal X that the association would donate PLN 200,000 to help flood victims.
