“Kitchen Revolutions” is a program that is absolutely loved by viewers. Magda Gessler For many years she has been travelling across Poland to help failing restaurants. At the beginning of September, a new and already 29th season of the culinary show with her participation started. In the third episode of the series, the queen of Polish gastronomy came to Toruń, or more precisely to the outskirts of the city, where a small sports airport EPTO is located near the university campus. The restaurant of the same name is run there by Albina, who comes from Ukraine. The food served there was bland and the heroine's story was moving. Did Magda Gessler manage to revive the venue?

34-year-old Albina came to Poland a few years ago to earn money to renovate her dream house. However, after the war broke out, she had nothing to return to, because her house was already in the territory occupied by Russia. She met Adrian from Moldova, with whom she opened a restaurant by the airport. Currently, the woman dreams of her own house in Poland, where she could live with her mother, daughter and partner. Unfortunately, the food served did not appeal to Magda Gessler. It was bland, and as she herself stated, tasteless. – It's soup, it's soup on a nail, you can't taste the meat at all – she commented. It was only when Adrian stepped in and served his own soups and sausages from the smokehouse that Magda Gessler saw a glimmer of hope.
However, the problems did not end there. When the restaurateur entered the kitchen, she saw a great mess and disorder, the room was not very clean, so the employees immediately started cleaning. There were also communication problems. There were even tears. Albina had a problem, namely the employees did not follow her instructions. – I think we need to change the whole team. I don't have the strength to deal with them anymore – she said in front of the cameras. One of the employees, Julia, could not stand the pressure and locked herself in a storage room. When the owner tried to persuade her to leave, she did not react. “I'm not going anywhere,” she repeated over and over. Magda Gessler had to intervene, and it was only she who managed to calm the dispute and bury the hatchet. “I'm only going because of you,” Julia declared. Albina also couldn't stand the atmosphere hanging in the air. When her daughter visited her in the restaurant, she burst into tears. “I don't have the strength. Fortunately, with the passage of time, the tense situation was calmed down. Maga Gessler also announced the changes that will appear in the restaurant. From now on, the restaurant is called “Podniebienie” and it serves unique dishes, including groats with Hungarian goulash, vegetable casserole and various types of cream soup. Despite the difficult beginnings, preparations for the final dinner went well and it ended with a spectacular success. When Magda Gessler returned to the restaurant four weeks later, she was pleasantly surprised. The food was as good as it had been under her supervision. “Well, what I like! Delicious! Yum, yum,” she gushed over her plate. “This food is a model for most airlines on how they should feed their guests. From the heart, simply delicious!” she said as she left.
