Sandbags from Wołów, Wisznia Mała, Siechnice and Wrocław are arriving in Wińsk – places where the biggest wave has already passed. The residents are exhausted, but the territorial ones have come to support them.
– The situation near Budkowo is currently poor. There are seepages from below and so-called wells are being built from sacks – said Krysowata-Zielnica.
As the mayor emphasized, the problem is the lack of paved roads leading to the embankments. As a result, heavy equipment gets stuck in the mud, and sandbags have to be led by quads. According to the mayor, this should change after the flood.
