Ewa Ewart was honored on Tuesday with the Special Award of the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs for the documentary film “To the Last Drop”, which was co-produced with TVN24. – It is a surprise, but also a great satisfaction. It is proof that the message of this film is really starting to reach wider circles, and business is also watching it – said Ewa Ewart.
The award was presented during the 1st edition of the Blue Deal Congress. Ewa Ewart received the distinction from Marek Kowalski, chairman of the Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs.
– It's a surprise, but also a huge satisfaction. It's proof that the message of this film is really starting to reach wider circles, it's also watched by business. And this film is about cooperation between business and social organizations – said Ewa Ewart.
– This award and this congress come at a very special time, when we are witnessing huge human tragedies and what is happening in southern Poland. We are starting to look for answers to what happened. Once again, in a sense, we have lost to the elements. We are asking ourselves whether we have learned our lesson. And I am very glad that this film was made, because today it brings many answers – she added.
“To the last drop”
“To the Last Drop”, co-produced with TVN24, reveals the global costs and consequences of destroying nature “in the name of progress”. It is a story about helplessness and desperation, but also about determination and hope. It tells not only about rivers, but also about people who try to save rivers and raise awareness of why the problem is so important.
By showing the fight for clean and healthy rivers, the documentary inspires and shows that we too can contribute to solving this crisis. The film was shot in Canada, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Albania and Poland, and their authors are Mateusz Kruszelnicki and Wiktor Strumiłło, cameramen from TVN24.
The film received awards at festivals in Hamburg and Sandomierz, among others.
