City guards found the owner of the scooter, which had been stolen from its owner and was disassembled into parts in one of the garbage bins in Praga.
On Thursday, city guards received a call about a scooter parked in an unusual place. The vehicle was parked in a garbage shed at Zachariasza Street in Praga Północ. The reporting person noticed that the motorcycle was being dismantled at night.
“In the indicated place, the officers found a two-wheeler with visible structural damage. The license plate was also damaged, which made it difficult to identify the vehicle. However, the guards managed to identify the owner, who lived two blocks away,” the Warsaw City Guard said in a statement.
The man confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen recently, but he had not yet had time to report it to the police because “it was in transit.” The scooter was returned to its owner.
Meanwhile, the City Cleaning Authority published on its social media a photo of a scooter “parked” on the roof of a bus shelter at Marymoncka in Bielany.
