Viewers loved “Familiada”, which has been broadcast on TVP2 for three decades. Karol Strasburger he has been its host since the beginning of the program and notices a lot of changes in the game show over the years. He admitted that at the beginning he prepared anecdotes and texts and had entire notebooks of them. Then he started improvising – although he knew the rules of the program by heart. – The formula has also changed, families no longer have to be there, so students and business people come. However, there are no government employees or politicians. (…) People are more open and brave.(…) This program has become a bit of a cult and people enjoy appearing in the studio – he confessed in an interview with “Fakt”. He also noticed that people don't care about labels anymore. – Another big change I see it's another form of address – he points out.
The beginnings were very official, when you addressed someone, you called him or her by title: professor, master, director. This was very important. Calling each other by name was out of the question
– he talked about a situation from years ago. – Titles, positions and so on had to be exchanged. I also spoke, kissed ladies' hands and was very elegant. It didn't work, he noted. – This form does not exist at the moment. People have become accustomed to appearing on television, They don't get offended when I address them as “you”. They also call me by my name as if I were a friend. It is more accessible and friendly. I always tell guests that I am here to help them, I treat it as a nice meeting. I never took it out on the participants and never made them feel that I had an advantage over them, adds Strasburger.

We and the entire team have developed our own style. However, I can actually say that this program has my face. (..) I have experienced both sad and great things in my life, but I try not to let them affect the program – notes the presenter. He also adds that he tries to “stay up to date”. – I try to live modernly, I don't get offended at the world, because the person running such programs must like people, must be knowledgeable in many topics and have something to say. Here, learning texts by heart does not always work – he says in an interview with “Fakt”. Strasburger also emphasizes that if he undertakes something, he devotes himself fully to it. – If you work on something and treat it thoroughly, seriously and professionally, it must work out. It would be strange if it didn't work out, he said.
