In his speech, Jaki also addressed voters who do not support the opposition. In his opinion, many Poles do not vote for the right wing because they have been told that what PiS or SP is doing is unmodern, unEuropean and unwise. – We are the heirs of a wonderful tradition, political and religious freedom that has not existed anywhere for centuries. (…) We created the first constitution in Europe, or an outstanding declaration of religious freedom. Poland is something wonderful, he declared. – So why do we allow this fantastic tradition to be held by someone who does not even hide the fact that he is disgusted by it? – asked Jaki. Therefore, he appealed to “reject the evil empire and build what we have always done – a true republic.” -Or Germanyor – at best – European bureaucracy – he concluded.

“The merger has become a fact”

After the end of the Political Council, head of the PiS club Mariusz Błaszczak he said that “the connection with the environment of Sovereign Poland has become a fact.”

– Today, PiS has two additional vice-presidents, Patryk Jaki and Michał Wójcik, until the minister recovers. Zbigniew Ziobro – said Błaszczak. The politician informed that the PiS Political Committee had also been supplemented with Beata Kempa, Rafał Bochenek, Michał Woś and Michał Wójcik.

Moreover, he added, a new PiS body was established – the Executive Committee consisting of 29 people. – 26 people were elected during the meeting of the Political Council, three people are members of this Committee ex officio – Błaszczak clarified.

Kaczyński: we need to start the consolidation process

Earlier on Saturday, during the Law and Justice congress, PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński spoke:- We are facing extraordinary, very extraordinary challenges. Poland is facing them, and we are the only force that can defend Poland against all this.

– We need to start the consolidation process, first the internal one. Hence today's Political Council, he noted. – I know this raises a lot of resistance, but in politics you have to be able to get over certain facts. I often jokingly say that in politics you need to have a good, but short memory, he added.

– There were various events and they concerned me, but I repeat, we have to do it. This is a signal to society that the Polish patriotic camp is uniting, and we must look for an alliance and allies only there, only in the Polish patriotic camp. And we will look for them, he said. – This is our great task. So I repeat, firstly, do not cry, secondly, consolidate, thirdly, activate and dynamize – said the PiS president.
