Accidents at railway crossings. Statistics

According to data published by PKP PLK on the official website of the “Safe crossing” social campaign, since the beginning of 2024, there have been 125 accidents and collisions involving vehicles and pedestrians at level crossings and rail-road crossings of the AE category.

“In recent years, there have been approximately 200 accidents each year, killing several dozen people. This is still far too many. That is why it is so important to constantly educate all road users,” we read on the “Safe Driving” campaign website.
