He attacked a man, stabbed him and stole cash. Michał Ł. also mentally and physically abused his partner, calling her names, beating her and threatening to kill her. He also starved his dog. He was convicted by the court for these actions.
According to the prosecutor's office, on January 6, 2024 in Wrocław, Michał Ł., holding a knife in his hand and using violence and threatening to kill the injured party, ordered him to undress and then took his money in the amount of PLN 100 and his ID card. Afterwards, he stabbed the injured party with a knife held in his right hand in the left side of the chest, causing injuries affecting the functions of body organs or health disturbance for a period longer than seven days and exposing the injured party to a direct danger of loss of life or serious bodily harm.
He abused his partner
– Michal Ł. mentally and physically abused his life partner, calling her vulgar and insulting words, threatening to kill her or beating her, beating her in the face and entire body, and forcing her to cut her own hair in order to disfigure her – informs Karolina Stocka – Mycek, spokeswoman of the District Prosecutor's Office in Wrocław.
He starved the dog
The accused also abused his dog. Michał Ł. kept the female Amstaff in extremely poor conditions, without providing food and water, which led to her exhaustion and, ultimately, to the death of the animal.
Sentence for the torturer
The District Court in Wrocław sentenced him to a total penalty of seven years and six months of imprisonment. He also awarded compensation to the victims and compensation to the Animal Adoption Center. The defendant was also banned from owning any animals for a period of 10 years.
