– Karol Nawrocki is not a citizen's candidate, but a citizen of Jarosław Kaczyński, who himself decided whom Law and Justice should support because he is ashamed of eight years of government – said Miłosz Motyka, deputy minister of climate, spokesman for PSL, in “Fakty po Faktach”. Deputy Minister of Family Aleksandra Gajewska (Civic Coalition) said that “the PiS sign is deliberately hidden and voters cannot be allowed to forget about it.” They both also commented on the results of the Opinia24 survey for “Fakty” TVN and TVN24.

Rafał Trzaskowski would have won 41 percent of the votes in the first round of the presidential elections, and Karol Nawrocki 26 percent – results from a survey by Opinia24 for “Fakty” TVN and TVN24. Sławomir Mentzen took third place. There's another one Szymon Hołownia (Third Way), with a result of 9%. Another candidate was chosen by 8 percent.

– This is a candidate supported by PiS, still unknown to many people. The myth of his independence here can be absolutely debunked, she said.

– It is the case that legislators wrote the Act on the Institute of National Remembrance so that the head of the Institute of National Remembrance would be an independent person. By running in general elections with the support of one specific party, this independence may be questioned, she added.

She assessed that “the PiS sign is deliberately hidden and voters cannot be allowed to forget about it.”

Gajewska emphasized that Rafał Trzaskowski “takes every person he will face in the second round very seriously, because it is most likely that it will be the PiS candidate.”

Motyka: PiS is ashamed of eight years of rule

Deputy Minister of Climate, spokesman PSL Miłosz Motyka said that “we should approach each of these surveys with humility, even though it is still quite early.” – Formally, this campaign will start at the beginning of January. And we remember what dynamics there can be, especially in the presidential campaign, he added.

– However, when we talk about these citizen candidates, Mr. Nawrocki is not a citizen candidate, but a citizen Jarosław Kaczyńskiwho himself decided whom Law and Justice should support him because he is ashamed of eight years of rule by Law and Justice, said Motyka.

He added that “the vice-president or president is not running from Law and Justice, neither the prime minister, nor the former prime minister, nor any of the deputy prime ministers are running.”

– This means that this fantastic team of Law and Justice, which keeps explaining how phenomenally it governed, is ashamed of its eight years of rule, because if it were not ashamed, it would choose an active politician of this party who could speak, as in situations During the crisis, they earned their money by robbing Poles and wasting public funds, he noted.
