– If nothing unexpected happens, Zbigniew Ziobro will return to public life in December – said Michał Wójcik, former deputy minister of justice and acting vice-president of PiS, in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24. Jacek Karnowski from the Civic Coalition said that Ziobro “does not have the courage” to appear before the parliamentary investigative committee on Pegasus.
Guests of “Kropka nad i”: Jacek Karnowski from the Civic Coalition, deputy minister of funds and regional policy, former president of Sopot, and Michał Wójcik, acting vice president PIS and former Deputy Minister of Justice, discussed, among others, Zbigniew Ziobro and that he failed to appear before the parliamentary investigative committee on Pegasus four times.
Wójcik stated that Ziobro, as a “legalist”, cannot appear at this committee because the decision on this matter was made by Constitutional Tribunal. – This commission absolutely should not work, you are there like masqueraders, Minister – he said to Karnowski.
Asked how long he will be there acting vice-president of PiS, replied that “until Minister Zbigniew Ziobro returns to active politics.” The former head of the Ministry of Justice is fighting cancer.
– According to my knowledge, the minister will return to active politics – if nothing unexpected happens along the way – in December. He will slowly start functioning, return to public life, and will have one more examination – said Wójcik. -If there are no surprises, Minister Ziobro will return to public life in December, from which he left many months ago – he added.
Karnowski: Ziobro doesn't have the courage to sit before this committee?
Jacek Karnowski also commented on Ziobro's absence at the investigative commission. – Either illness, immunity, or one of you is going abroad. Well, you're obviously running away, he commented.
– Do you remember how Mr. Ziobro shouted: “come for me”? And he doesn't have the courage to sit before this committee? – he asked.

Wójcik: Nawrocki has a real chance to become president

Wójcik said about Nawrocki that “he is a civic candidate, he is not a member of a political party, he has never been a member of a political party.” – He doesn't have to say that he is independent, like for example Szymon Hołownia or Rafał Trzaskowski, who says he is independent, being vice-chairman (PO – ed.) – he added.
– Over the last few weeks, we have been conducting research that shows that this is a man who actually has a real chance to become the future president of Poland, and I think this will be the case – said the PiS politician.
Karnowski: you are ashamed because you are afraid of being held accountable
Karnowski said that PiS was cheating voters by presenting Nawrocki as a civic candidate. – You are ashamed because you are afraid of being held accountable and you are afraid that each of your candidates may have specific accusations – he said to Wójcik.
– Nobody is ashamed that Rafał Trzaskowski is a member of the Civic Platform, he is a member of the big club of the Civic Coalition. And no one is deceiving anyone, no one is saying that he is a citizen's candidate – continued the deputy minister. He listed that Trzaskowski “was deputy minister of foreign affairs, minister of digitization, he is a great president of Warsaw, he was an MEP.” – He is a man who walks the streets every day and meets normal people – argued the TVN24 guest.
