Low pressure Telse will cause rainfall, sleet and snow in Poland in the coming days. Later, high pressure will take over the weather and frosts are expected.
In the next 24 hours, Poland will be under the influence of the cloudy, rainy Telse low. – The low pressure center together with a system of occluding atmospheric fronts (combinations of cold and warm fronts) will cover western and central Poland at night, and also its eastern part during the day – said tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Damian Zdonek. – Initially, moderately warm air will flow into Poland from western Europe, then during the day slightly cooler air from the North Atlantic – he added. According to the forecaster tvnmeteo.pl, it will still be cloudy on Friday. There will be light rain in the east, center and south of the country, and snow in the mountains. – However, the pressure will increase quickly, and from the west Poland will be under the influence of a strong high pressure. Its center will move from Germany towards Ukraine, he added.
The influence of the barometric high will cause the formation of numerous fogs and hazes, in some places limiting visibility to about 100 meters. Frosts are also expected. – Although no precipitation is forecast, light drizzle cannot be ruled out due to the low cloud cover that persists in many regions of the country – the forecaster told tvnmeteo.pl. Clear weather is forecast, mainly in the west of the country during the weekend, and also in other regions at the beginning of next week.
