Application for extension of detention: – The prosecutor decided to apply for an extension of the detention because the crimes charged against the suspect are punishable by a high penalty, and there is a fear of fraud – said prosecutor Katarzyna Calów-Jaszewska from the press team of the National Prosecutor's Office in an interview with PAP, quoted by Polish Radio. Janusz Palikot (he consented to the publication of the image and full data – ed.) he would remain in custody for another three months longer (instead of January 1).

Janusz Palikot's problems: Recall that the businessman was detained by CBA On October 3, 2024, the prosecutor's office presented him with eight charges – seven of them apply suspicion of fraudand one appropriation. Palikot was supposed to lead to unfavorable disposal of the property of several thousand people for an amount close to that PLN 70 million. His colleagues – Przemysław B. and Zbigniew B. Atty. – were also charged with fraud. Jacek Dubois, who is Janusz Palikot's lawyer, previously explained that his client he doesn't admit it to the charges brought against him.
