Two 18-year-olds died in an accident that occurred in Kowary (Lower Silesia). The driver of the BMW left the road, drove into a ditch and hit a roadside tree. The driver and passenger died, and a third person was taken to hospital.
A serious accident occurred on Thursday after midnight on Kamienna Górska Street in Kowary.
– There was a road accident in which two people died. For unknown reasons, the 18-year-old driver of a BMW lost control, fell into a ditch and hit a tree. As a result of this incident, the car driver and an 18-year-old passenger died on the spot. The third passenger, a 22-year-old resident of the Karkonosze district, was taken to hospital – informs the deputy inspector. On-site activities were carried out with the participation of a prosecutor and a road traffic expert.
– The teenagers' bodies have been taken for autopsy. The police and the prosecutor's office are investigating the circumstances of this accident, he adds.
The services' operations have already ended and the road is passable.
