On Thursday evening, in the center of Krakow, a passer-by noticed a man with a firearm sitting in a car with others. He informed the services about this. The police arrived at the scene. Shots were fired, but no one was arrested. The officers started a manhunt.
The services received the report after 8 p.m. According to RMF radio, the incident took place at Dietla Street in the city center.
Subinspector Katarzyna Cisło – spokeswoman for the Provincial Police Headquarters in Krakow – told TVN24 that after the services arrived at the scene, one of several men in the car was allegedly aiming a gun at the policemen.
The officer fired shots at the vehicle and it drove away. After a few minutes, the car was found, but without the men inside. The police are searching.
