Shots were fired in the village of Kniażyce near Przemyśl (Podkarpackie Voivodeship) and a man was injured. A police manhunt for the attackers is underway. Officers check entering and leaving cars.
The incident took place on Friday evening in Kniażyce, in the Fredropol commune near Przemyśl. According to the portal nowiny24.pl, there was a shooting there, as a result of which a man was injured.
Injured man
The spokeswoman for the Przemyśl police, Joanna Golisz, in an interview with tvn24.pl, confirmed that activities are being carried out in this case. – On Friday, after 10 p.m., an incident occurred in the Przemyśl district in which a man was injured. The police have carried out and are carrying out activities aimed at determining the exact circumstances of this incident, at the moment this is the only information I can provide you – said the policewoman.

Police manhunt
According to the spokeswoman of the district prosecutor's office in Przemyśl, a manhunt for the perpetrators of the incident is underway, but for the sake of the proceedings she cannot provide detailed information. – The police took action to arrest the perpetrators of this incident, which resulted in the injury of a man – said prosecutor Marta Pętkowska. According to the website Nowiny24.pl, a police manhunt is underway, which began on the night from Friday to Saturday. The officers check every car leaving the city and those entering it. Police patrols were deployed at key points, such as Krakowska and Lwowska streets. The services' activities are also focused on the Fredropol commune and nearby towns, such as Hermanowice and Malhowice.
Radio Eska reported on Saturday that the attackers “entered one of the properties and fired shots at the residents. One person was injured. As Radio Eska reporters found out, the perpetrators were wearing bulletproof vests. After the shooting, they fled.”
