Sergei Lavrov spoke on Thursday during a conversation with journalists in Moscow. The Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that The Kremlin is interested in improving bilateral relations with Washington.

However, the head of the Kremlin's Foreign Ministry emphasized that for a new agreement to take place, the first step towards normalizing relations with Moscow should come from Washington, because it is White House – according to Lavrov – is responsible for the current, bad state of the relationship.
Ukraine-Russia. Sergei Lavrov: A truce is a road to nowhere
