Names for boys such as Aleksander – 516, Stanisław – 497 and Franciszek – 492 were also very popular.

For girls, apart from Zofia, these were: Alicja – 406, Hanna – 403 and Laura – 395.

Rare names in the capital include: Nastazja, Miłka, Kora, Jutrzenka, Sawa and Wilkomir, Siemowit, Romeo, Kaj and Filemon.

Demographic crisis
