USA. Elon Musk: Germans should demand change and vote for AfD

– My advice to Germans is to demand change and vote for the AfD, because only the AfD can save Germany, said billionaire Elon Musk during a conversation on the X platform with the leader of the right-wing populist Alternative For Germany party, Alice Weidel.

At the beginning of the conversation, the AfD leader and Musk criticized the chancellor's rule Angela Merkel (2005-2021) and the currently ruling coalition he leads Olaf Scholz. In their opinion, they led to the energy crisis in Germany. The interlocutors drew attention to the decision to close nuclear power plants, which in their opinion had disastrous consequences.

The AfD leader stated that the media do not want to invite her to her party's programs and thus limit the right to freedom of speech.

Criticism of Merkel and Scholz's governments took up a large part of the conversation. During it, the topic of the “destruction” of the German education system by previous governments, which was changed according to the “left-wing agenda of WOKE”, came up, Weidel said. Moreover, the politician accused Scholz of “throwing huge sums of money out the window” by donating them to migrants.

During the conversation, the topic of full-blown aggression was also touched upon Russia on Ukraine. Weidel told Musk that she sincerely hopes that the Trump administration will end the war. The billionaire declared that Ukraine is a smaller country than Russia, so there is no way to win the war and therefore it must be ended.

Weidel admitted that she did not know how to resolve the conflict Israel with Palestine, but assured that her party “is the only defender of the Jews in Germany” because all other groups allowed crimes against them.

Musk, owner of, among others, Space X, presented his vision of the future of civilization, which – in his opinion – “will end someday”. He explained that humanity's goal should be to live on other planets. “The first one will be Mars,” he announced.

Weidel's conversation with Musk was conducted after the billionaire has been interfering in public debate in various countries on the X platform he owns for some time. On December 20, he wrote that “only AfD can save Germany” His comment sparked a reaction from the media and politicians, who criticized him for this declaration.

A few days later, in an article by the “Welt am Sonntag” newspaper, Musk again expressed support for this far-right party and assessed that Chancellor Scholz was leading Germany to collapse.

In Germany, the campaign is underway before the parliamentary elections scheduled for February 23.
