An unusual intervention was carried out by the police in Bay Village in the US state of Ohio. Officers had to remove a large inflatable pumpkin from the road. It wasn't easy.

On Monday, October 14, the large inflatable pumpkin, which was a Halloween decoration, broke from its mounting ropes. Strong winds pushed her onto a busy road in Bay Village, Ohio. The pumpkin was so wide that it blocked the entire road.

The decoration was intercepted by the police, but not without difficulty – at one point it rolled down in such a way that it “engulfed” one of the officers. Ultimately, it was returned to its owner.

Local authorities reminded residents of the need to protect decorations in front of their homes. Especially when it's windy.
