Money is paid until the 15th day every calendar month, starting from the month in which a rescue benefit was granted.
Rescue benefit. What conditions must be met?
The rescue benefit is paid to people who performed difficult and dangerous work, associated with the threat to health and even life. Pension by an additional PLN 272 may be increased by retired mountain rescuers and volunteer firefighters who have reached retirement age (65 years for men and 60 years for women) and have worked at least 20 in these services (for women) or 25 (for men) years.
Where to apply for a rescue benefit?
To receive an additional PLN 272 for a pension, you must submit an application to the poviat or municipal commander of the fire brigade. The money is paid by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration's Pension Plant. The Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) does not deal with the acceptance and payment of a rescue benefit.
