Jan K., the husband of the missing Beata Klimek, was detained on Tuesday by the police. According to the prosecutor's office, activities with the participation of a man are to take place on Wednesday morning. He is to be charged with abuse of three adopted children.

The man was detained on Tuesday, April 8, around 4pm in his home in advice.

Prosecutor Łukasz Błogowski, A spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin, in an interview with tvn24.pl, emphasized that the detention is not related to the disappearance of his wife, Beata Klimek.

– The case concerns child abuse, i.e. Article 207 of the Penal Code – the prosecutor told us. He added that on Wednesday at 9 o'clock the interrogation of Jan K. is to begin – he will be charged with the charges and a decision will be made whether the arrest would be applied to him – prosecutor Łukasz Błogowski told us

§ 1. Whoever abuses a person who is physically or mentally abusing a person or another person remaining in a permanent or transient relationship of dependence on the perpetrator is punishable by imprisonment from 3 months to 5 months. § 1a. Who is physically or mentally abused over a person who is awkward because of his age, mental or physical state, shall be subject to the penalty of deprivation of liberty from 6 months to 8 months. In § 1 or 1a, he is combined with the application of special cruelty, the perpetrator shall be punishable by imprisonment from a year to 10 years. § 3. The consequence of the act specified in § 1-2 is the hatch of the victim for his own life, the perpetrator is punishable by imprisonment from 2 to 15 years.

Beata Klimek has been sought after since autumn 2024. On October 7, Beata Klimek escorted her children to the bus stop in the advice. There is no contact with her since then. In the afternoon, the children came back from school, they did not find our mother anymore, so they went to their aunt.

Monitoring was installed at Beata Klimek's house. She installed it in fear of her safety, also because of her husband she was divorced. The cameras stopped registering the image shortly after her exit to the stop.

The Poviat Police Headquarters in Łobza was informed about the disappearance of the woman. Residents who combed the surrounding area were also involved in the missing search. Tracking dogs were also included in the activities of the services.

On March 26, heavy equipment entered the property where Beata Klimek lived, and now her husband and her new partner. The services searched the area, secured, among others The tarpaulin that the experts will examine.

They lived separately

Beata Klimek's husband, with whom she was in divorce, was to claim that he saw a woman going out with the children. A moment later he left alone. In an interview with the detective, he spared no details about what he did that day. However, not all his testimonies are consistent.

– The hours from the moment of her disappearance to the afternoon, when he found out about it, were very filled according to his relationship. He had an alibi de facto. In my opinion, he did not tell the truth. He reported that he was going to Łobez. However, this is not true, because there is a witness who saw him elsewhere – explained detective Arkadiusz Andała.

The missing husband and the new partner have already moved into Beata Klimek's apartment. Over the past year and a half, the spouses have lived separately. Mrs. Beata lived with the children who, just after her disappearance, came under the care of her sister.

The man claims that he lives there temporarily and moves out from here when his wife returns.
