And I think that I will be perfectly found in the confederation with such beliefs – wrote the adviser to President Andrzej Duda Łukasz Rzepecki, who announced joined the confederation and the support of her presidential candidate. Earlier he appeared at the rally of Sławomir Mentzen.

Łukasz Rzepecki is a former MP of PiS and Kukiz'15, and since 2020 the president's advisor Andrzej Duda. On Friday, Sławomir Mentzen appeared unexpectedly at the election rally. The confederation candidate spoke on that day, among others in Zgierz (Łódź).
Rzepecki referred to his decision to support Mentzen in the race for the office of president. “Today, most political parties refer to what the confederation has been saying for many years. This is a great merit of Sławomir Mentzen, his ambitious vision of Poland, effectiveness and, above all, credibility! Thank you for inviting your white and red team” – he wrote on platform X at the end of the rally.
Later, the photo with Rzepecki was also posted by the chief of staff of Sławomir Mentzen. “Well, officially, today in the campaign of Sławomir Mentzen directly from the Presidential Palace of Welcome Łukasz Rzepecki,” wrote Bartosz Bocheńczak on the portal X.

Rzepecki talked about his political plans in an interview with Onet. “As the president said – every citizen has the right to make his personal decision to whom to vote in the election. My heart beats on the right. I, Łukasz Rzepecki, will vote for Sławomir Mentzen, because he is the voice of the young generation, a voice of common sense and normality in these increasingly complicated times,” he said.
In his opinion, “Politics is the art of predicting what will happen and hard to put the interests of our country – and this guarantees Mentzen.”
He added that he also had “great respect for Karol Nawrocki as a man and as the president of the Institute of National Remembrance for his work, which he did for Poland, to commemorate our history and Polish heroes.”
Even before the declaration of Rzepec, President Andrzej Duda appeared at the Convention Karol Nawrockiwhere he gave the PiS candidate official support. – I, Andrzej Duda, having the same rights as you go to the election and cast my vote, I will vote for Karol Nawrocki in these elections, because I believe that he is a man who will strive and will do everything to make Poland be honest, that Poland is a strong state, also in the international arena – he said.
What does Duda urge her ministers and advisers to?
In an interview with “Onet” Rzepecki admitted that the president knew about his decision. “It could not be otherwise, I have great respect for the President. The president urges his ministers and advisers to think about their future and would conduct their activity so to implement our Polish affairs as best as possible,” he said.
Rzepecki also stated that he had a “good relationship for a long time” with the confederation environment.
